Stephanie Farley

For over 25 years, I worked in independent k-12 schools as a teacher and administrator. My focus in both roles was to optimize student learning experiences by tapping into brain research, mastery-based and constructivist learning pedagogy,  positive psychology, and years of iteration. Now, I coach teachers in lesson planning, curriculum development, classroom management, and appropriate communication, as well as provide consultation and professional development services around curriculum, assessment, management, and communication.

Testimonials

"Among Stephanie’s many strengths is her commitment to what is in the best interest of students. She designs curriculum to meet the needs of the group. She has successfully experimented with student choice, essential questions, alternative assessment, and mastery learning. She is able to communicate the vision of the program and craft fun yet meaningful lessons for students. In considering and implementing policy, she takes her knowledge of young adolescents and the student perspective to heart."--Associate Head of School

“Stephanie is a strong innovator and seems to be starting new things all the time--new curriculum, new courses, new programs, new task forces, new professional development opportunities, and new survey tools.” -- Middle School Director
